Las Vegas Vacations
Las Vegas can be a fun vacation on a small budget. Their are many hotels to choose from. It all depends on how much money you would like to spend. The area of Las Vegas where you want to stay can make a big difference in the price of the hotels. Having a room on the Las Vegas Strip is probably the most popular area to stay. It provides the best selection of hotels and shows. Walking on the strip is my favorite way of getting where I need to go. This is a great way to see Las Vegas. If you decide to rent a car you may become frustrated with all the traffic on the strip. This is why I perfer to walk. Taxis or bus service is also a option. You may also ride on the Monorail for a very reasonable price. One of the best hotels on the strip is the Bellagio. This is a very beautiful hotel right in the middle part of the Las Vegas Strip. It has a dancing water show in front of the hotel. This show starts about every 15 minutes. It is a free show so their are many tourists that stop while walking down the strip to witness this amazing show. This hotel would be for someone that has a larger budget in mind for their vacation. Cheapest rooms run about $250 a night. If you want to stay on the Strip for a better price their are some hotels you can choose from. One of my favorites is the Excalibur Hotel and Casino. It has a Medieval theme. The outside of the hotel resembles a castle from that era.This hotel has very good deals on rooms at certain times of the year. Prices can be aroun $50. The Excalibur is also kid friendly if you choose to bring your children. They have a very large game room that features many arcade games. Children can walk through the Casino floor but need to stay on the walkways and not go by the gaming areas. I also like the New York Hotel and Casino. It is a middle of the road hotel. prices for rooms are probably in the $100 range. They have a roller coaster that starts inside the casino and goes outside. You really can't go wrong wherever you stay. Most rooms on the strip are real nice. The main thing is just go there and have a great time. |
